We charge a small booking fee for some tickets purchased/booked online to assist us with some of the costs associated with the hosting of the booking system, card processing fees and website. The booking fee is relational to the retail price of the product being purchased. We do not charge a booking fee for over the telephone transactions at this time or for purchases made through the tills on site.
Dogs travel free of charge in standard class accommodation. All we ask is that they are kept on a lead and do not ride on the seats. Dogs are not permitted in the serving area of the Station Café, on dining trains or in First Class (when available).
You receive unlimited standard class travel on the date you choose to come. Day Rover tickets are not bookable for a particular date or time and do not provide you with a seat reservation. Trains do not run every day of the week so it is advisable you check our timetable at www.e-v-r.com/timetable. Your ticket is valid for one day (unless otherwise specified) between Wirksworth and Duffield only and should be redeemed at the ticket office on arrival. Separate fares apply for the Ravenstor incline when it is in operation. Day Rover tickets purchased online are not valid on Orange days as these are special events and alternative timetables, fares and arrangements may be in place. First class is available on some of our trains and, where available, a supplement is payable to the on train team upon inspection of tickets.

Trains run on several days of the week in the summer period. Please see our website at www.e-v-r.com/timetable for more information.
Wirksworth Station is normally closed on Mondays, except Bank Holidays. Other days opening hours are normally 09:30 until 16:00.

Currently, you cannot change your custom selections (e.g. menu options) or the date of your booking online. Please call our team on 01629 823076 (not Mondays) and we will be happy to help. No refunds will be given within 48 hours of the day of a booking however we may move you to an alternative date at our discretion and subject to availability.
Tickets for passengers wishing to board at Shottle or Idridgehay are only available from the on train team and cannot be booked in advance. Groups of 10 passengers or more should call our team on 01629 823076 (not Mondays) to book.
