For Valentine’s Day, we have something special lined up for what will be an indulgent and romantic evening for you and your loved one.
At Wirksworth station on Saturday 14 February, you will be welcomed on board the Derbyshire Countryman and offered a complementary glass of Prosecco, before you are escorted to your seat.
Once the train leaves the station at 6.30pm, you can sit back, relax and let us spoil you on this romantic evening as you travel through unspoilt Derbyshire countryside in one of our beautifully restored heritage carriages, pulled by a steam locomotive.
Savour the freshly prepared dishes as you journey along our heritage line and take in the sights. To complement your meal choose from our drinks menu, from local beers and international lagers, to fine wines and a selection of soft drinks.
